It is difficult to believe that anybody living in a comparative paradise like Australia would wish to go to Russia at tho present time, in view of the reports of famine, disease, and bloodshed which are constantly coming from that trouble-torn country (says the "Age’’). Certainly those unfortunate victims who are stranded in Russia would fail to understand tho typo of mind that displayed an anxiety to get there. As if the state of tho country were not a sufficient ’barrier to immigration, however, the Soviet Government has adopted regulations regarding, tho admittance of people into Russia, w’hich impose severe restrictions. The terms of these restrictions have been communicated to th® Federal Minister of Home and Territories by the British authorities, and anybody who is BO foolish as to contemplate leaving Australia for the land of tho Bolsheviks will be required to acquaint himself with the rules. Even persons of Russian origin, who claim tho questionable distinction of being Russian citizens, will not bo unreservedly admitted. The Soviet Government, the communication states, will readily cohsider all applications from persons sympathising with tho aims of the Soviet, and, where possible, will grant them permission to enter Russia, but'all other Russians wishing to return \to their native lahd must obtain special permission from the Soviet Government. How it is to be ascertained whether or not an applicant really sympathises with "tho aims of tho Soviet" is not stated. Protection. — Your invention, unless protected, will bo a waste of time and money. Patent it and ensure the fullest protection.
