Stock breeders and intending exhibitors at tl’o forthcoming Hawke’s Bay A. nnd P. Society’s spring show, which is to take place on October 19 and 20, are reminded that general entries close on Wednesday, October 5. Tho society is again offering n lengthy list of prizes in valuable trophies and prize-money. Arrangements have 'been made. with tho Railway Department for special stock trains from the Wairarapa and West Coast. Intending exhibitors who have not yet received a schedule are requested to immediately communicate with the secretary, P.O. Box 145, Napier.

Dairy cattle were in strong demand, and / prices throughout were on a par with recent sales.
