BOYS’ CRICKET LEAGUE
The annual general meeting of the Boys’ Cricket League was held at the Y.M.C.A. rooms last evening. Mr. J. Hayden occupied the chair. A fair number of clubs were represented. . It was estimated that there would be sixty teams playing in the league during the coming season, and tho meeting decided to apply for thirty pitches. There were over 500 boys playing last season, and 229 games were played. The balance-sheet showed a email credit balance.
Mr. Spolsky was elected secretary. It was decided to run three grades instead of two. The nw grade will be called tho intermediate grade and will be composed of boys between 14 years and 16 years of ago on October, 1. Tho change was made with tho idea of better equalising the various grades. Teams failing to eena in their results by tho TVedneeday following a match have one point deducted from their championship points. It was decided to play six-ball overs 5n all grades.
