As a result of the battle for Angora the Greeks are withdrawing westward. It is believed that during the battle there were eighteen thousand Turkish and twelve thousand Greek casualties. According to ’Smyrna reports, the Greeks, having occupied strategic positions on the heights east of Gordios, are making preparations to advance on Angora, but arc suffering serious losses. Kemal is preparing a strong resistance. —"The Times.”
