The record of the Wellington Rugby Football Club is one of good sportsmanship. Established many years''ago, the club has attracted to its colours a strong following ot supporters, who never fail to put a team in the field each Saturday, even though of recent years success has not gone their way. They know how to) take a beating—and good losers are just as Jessential to tho success of New Zealand’s national game as good winners. On Saturday tho club held its annual reunfou nt Dustin's rooms, where a very successful evening was spent. Opportunity was taken <0 make a presentation of some silveryaro to Mr. J. Francis, one of the team’s hookers, in token of, his long and serviceable connection with the club. A lengthy toast list, interspersed with songs, was gone through.
