COLLAPSE OF A BRIDGE
MANY PEOPLE DROWNED. 1 (Rec. September 11, 11.5 p.m.) New York, September 10. According' to a message from Chester, Pennsylvania, twenty men, woipen, and children are known to have beqti drowned and! et least twenty more are believed to be at the bottom of a tributary of the Delaware River as the result of an old wooden bridge collapsing. A little boy had fallen into the water, and crowdscongregated on the bridge to, watch the rescue, wi th the result that the structure became overloaded l .
