TECHNICAL SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS
For tho forthcoming elections for the Wellington Technical School Board the following nominations have been received:— From . school committees (one seat): Jff(rs. Annie M’Vicar (Worser Bay). Messrs. J. Darling (Terrace), L. Hennessey (Te■ Aro), A. Sando .(Lyall Bay), J. 0. Shorland (Island Bay), and A. G. Wallace (Kilbirnie). , From parents (three seats): Mrs. J. R. Hannah, Messrs. IL Bolton, and W J. IV. 4 Pascoe. The Education Board representatives (three seats)-are to te chosen nt the next meeting, and , those for public bodies (three seats) on Thursday next. Nominations from the employers’ associations (throe seats) and industrial unions (three seats) have.-not yet closed. The-election’for the rsryosentative of the school committees takes place on Monday evening.. In all there are 1 sixteen vacancies, njul under >tho tiew scheme of representation a strong comrnittee covering many interests is expected io result.
