WITHDRAWAL OF TOTALISATOR PERMITS
OTAIIUHU TROTTING CLUB PROTESTS. By Teleirnph—Press Association. Auckland, July 27. Tho recommendation of t’ho {Racing Commission regarding the withdrawal of totalisator permits from the Otaliuhu Trotting Club was tho subject of protest at a meeting of tho club committee. The committee adopted a report by tho dhairman recommending that a cablegram be sent to Mr. Massey. It was also resolved to send a deputation to the Minister of Internal Affairs urging th.it the recommendation should not apply until tho 1922-23 season pending Parliament’s decision; also to interview as many Al.P.’s as possible and hold public meetings in the. district.
