WOOL SALES
THE DISPUTE SETTLED AMENDED DATES ANNOUNCED The wool buyers have accepted the offer made 'by the banks, and the diffi--culty that caused' tho postponement of wool sales is now removed. A form of shipping document suitable to both the banks and the buyers will be issued by tho shipping companies, pending a final adjustment of tho question raised in connection with the bills of lading. Tho refusal of tho buyers to bid at auctions pending the settlement of this difficulty caused the postponement of the Dunedin sale, and so interfered with other dates. It has been arranged now that the Dunedin sale shall be held on August 4 and tho Invercargill sale on August 6. Tho date of the Timaru sale will bo fixed later.
