FORGERY ALLEGED
ARREST BY EXTRADITION. Under ex tradition for alleged forgery in Wellington, a man named Burwood was brought back to Wellington from Sydney bv the Manuka yesterday by Detective Torrance. Police officials stated last evening to a Dositntox reporter that after the extradition had been enplied for on. the ground of the alleged offence in Wellington, it was ascertained that Burwood was "wanted” to answer similar charges in Auckland and Whangarei All the charges relate to alleged forgery of cheques in tho towns previously mentioned.
