Twenty thousand hales of B.A.W.R.A. wool were offered at Hull on Friday. Merinos declined 10 per cent., and crossbreds were sold at par to 5 per cent, lower, prices for both descriptions being as compared with last London sales. Three-quarters of the offering was sold, French and Belgian buyers taking the hulk of the catalogue.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. SYDNEY SALES OPEN. (Rec. July 11, 9.5 p.m.) Sydney, July IL The first series of the 1921-22 wool sales were opened to-day. Yorkshire, French, Japanese, and Gorman buyers competed keenly.
