9 FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for moderate to strong westerly to southerly winds, weather changeable and showery. Barometer nnsteady, with a rising tendency. Dull, cold, and showery conditions have ruled over Ihe North Island and northeastern districts of the Houth Island. Moderate to strong southerly winds have prevailed.
