THE WEATHER
FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT « P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for moderate to strong westerlies, backing to souther, lies soon northward of Kawhia and East Cape, and southerly winds elsewhere. Cold, changeable, showery weather may be expected generally, barometer rising soon. Dull and misty weather has continued generally, with rain in many parts.
