THEFT FROM EMPLOYER
TERM OF PROBATION GIVEN. By Telegraph—Press Association. Masterton, June 9. Frederick James Benge was charged in tho Magistrate's Court to-day with the theft of money belonging to his eraplayer, J. Pomeroy, grocer, the sums s being .£lO 10s. 3d., .£5, and Ils. 2d. Accused was sentenced to probation for three years, and ordered to pay tho’ money misappropriated within .twelve’ montlis.
