IF my activities on behalf of the progress of our city and district and tho welfare of the people have met with your approval, I ask for your further support for my candidature for the Harbour Board TO-DAY. I desire tho constant improvement of our Harbour, for up-to-date facilities for handling cargo, and the provision of a dock and facilities for repairing and overhauling vessels, which will become yearly more urgent if our port is to maintain its place in the march of progress. It is also urgent that we should have more efficient, continuous, and harmonious working of our waterfront. I am pledged to no Party or Organisation.
