MILK VENDORS FINED

In the Magistrate’s Court, William Thomas Henderson, milk vendor, was fined £2O for selling adulterated milk. ’The Magistrate said the milk was unfit for consumption by infants. Defendant could, if ho desired, suo his supplier if he believed ho had watered the milk.
John Shortall, milk retailer, was fined £5, with costs, for selling milk under tho standard. The prosecution was brought under new regulations regarding freshness and stalon'ess of milk.
