INSPECTION BY M.P.’s.

A Parliamentary party, comprising Sir George Hunter, Messrs. 11. F. Bollard, 0. Hawken. F. F. Hockly, D. Jones, T. Burnett, and A. Hamilton, arrived from Picton this morning and were entertained at breakfast and a civic welcome at Blenheim. Tho party left almost directly for a tour of inspection of the route of the South Island Main Trunk line. They attend a conference at Kaikoura tonight.
