The Ahikoiika River Board met. on Thursday last. Present: Messrs. IV. <T. Feast, J. Allen, and 0. Cadwallador. Tt was resolved that a statement’ of cost of work at Cabbage Tree Point be forwarded to the Featherston County Council, and that the Western Committee be’ asked to inspect the work as early as possible. The work cost 41200. Jho secretary was instructed to ask the mom. hers of the Waiohine River Board t«> meet the board on Wednesday next, at a time to bo arranged. The secretary reported that all rates due had been paid. Mr. W. J. Feast gave notice that he would move at next meeting of the board that a rate of ?d. in tho J- bo made on value of new roll, Oho same to be payable in one sum on April 1.
