CONGRESS TO CONSIDER FURTHER ADVANCES.
Washington, February 15. The Senate Judiciary Committee voted opposing the payment of any further money to foreign countries, even on commitments already made, until Congress knows all the facts concerning the loans. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
NO UNDERTAKINGS TO CANCEL • ALLIES’ DEBTS.
St. Augustine (Florida), Feb. 15. Mr. T. W. Lamont, United States Financial Adyiser at the Peace Conference, has informed Mr. Harding that President Wilson made no commitments, either direct or remote, regarding the cancellation of Allied debts during the Conference. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
