A vagrant rooster saved Governor Cox from great danger during the recent Presidential campaign in the United States. Soon after the Governor’s arrival at Wichita, Kansas, a runaway rooster was found perched on the trucks under the candidate’s private car. Railway employees said its capture led to the discovery that flanges of the car wheels were worn out and in imminent danger of breaking and ditching the car.
