For some time now (snyß the "Bluff Pre>«") Tumours have been busy that the branches of the Union Steam Ship and New Zealand Shinnine Companies in Bluff were to be brouprht under one manaeership, and ni a result of the recent visit of the Onornl manager of the New Zealand Shippini: Company and the ecn. eral manager of the Union Steam Mu.o Company to Southland last week, it is understood that the branches of the two companies at Invcrcarßill and Bluff will he combined under the manaeershin or Mr. L. W. Spencer, hitherto branch manager of the Union Steam Shin Comnany, and well known in Bluff. His probable there will bo some redistribution of the staffs or the two companies. Advice haa been received in Dunedin that the steamer Argyllshire left Liverpool on October 29 for Australian "ortß, via Cane Town. The vesßel 1b due at Adelaide about December 3, and should reach Sydney about December 16. Tho Argyllshire, has a number of passengers on board for New Zealand. MOKOIA'S MOVEMENTS.
