Palmerston North, August 12. Hearing of the charge of manslaughter against-Warren Newth, in connection with the motor collision which tool: place at Snndon on May 20, by- winch Messrs. A. E. Eglinton, A. E. Penny, nnd Frank Kidman, lost their lives, commenced in the Supreme Court to-day. After accused had been charged, the Court ndiourned to" allow the jury to inspect L uo scene of the accidorit. Newth, who had previously been on bail, was detained .in custody: ■
