By TeJecrapli-Prcss Association. Ghristohurch, August ¥. The weather was fine lor trainin" operations at Kiccarton this morning, but the tracks were very soft on account of tho recent rain, and only the sand was open. The work was uninteresting. It consisted chieflv of half-naclng.
Crib and Golden Prince jumped the big fences well.
All Talk. Kohu, and Ladoeuer popped over two hurdles together. General Petam and Samicl were schooled over the hurdles, but Samiel lost his rider at the third obstacle.
Several hunters also Jumped a. couple o{ hurdles.
