■ AUSTRALIANS' REPUDIATION. New York, August 4. The New York "Times" prints a letter signed by a number of Australians, condemning Dr. Mannix. It states that all Australia is behind Mr. Hughes in the repudiation of Dr. Mannix.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. Victoria, August 4. Sir Jame9 Burns (of Burns, Philp, and Co.). who is visiting Canada, said that Dr. Mannik was a firebrand who did not voice Australian sentiment.
