Lovin and Co. yesterday from tho General Steamship Corporations liner West Mahwah, bad weather is being experienced on the East Coast. The Weßt Mahwah. is'cn route to Wellington from San Francisco, via. Auckland, and she Mill not now arrive in'port until this morninir. The vessel was originally due yesterday. TOFUA SAILS THURSDAY. The departure of the R.M.6. Tofua for San Francisco, via Rarotonga and Papeote, has bean further postponed until 3 p.m. on • Thursday. ■ - SOFALA DISCHARGING. The British India Steam Navigation Company's steamer Sofala is expected to complete the discharge of the Lyttelton portion of her Eastern cargo, comprising tea, gunnies. and kapoc. to-day, when she will he dispatched for Dnnedln to put out the remainder of her freight. THE FORT ALMA.. Th« Port Alma arrived from New York, via Panama, at Auckland on Sunday, and is duo here on Thursday. She "will put out about 1068 tons here, and then proceed to lyttelton, Duncdin. and Australian ports to complete discharge. She will load in Australia .for London. She left New York on June 12 and experienced fine weather until approaching the Now Zealand coast, when she met with a heavy southerly swell. Bhe has about 7000 tons I of general merchandise for the Dominion. ' The Port Alma is in command of Captain Jack. PAPAROA ARRIVES. . The Paparoa arrived herß yesterday and will complete loading for London. She is expected to sail on .Saturday next. MESS-TABLE GOSSIP. A£r. R. Scott, extra officer aboard the Mobraki, has signed off the vessel's articles. : • . : Captain A. . Stewart, late of the Anchor Steamship Company; is now master of the Aratapu. • NGAHERE. AND NGATORO. The Ngahere has been delayed at Greymouth owine to eneine-room repairs. She is expected to sail for Wellington on Thursday at mid-day, and should arrive here 011 Friday nieht. The Ngatoro is due here at the ond of the week with a cargo of produce from Timaru; SOMERSET'S MOVEMENTS. The Somerset, which arrived at Bluff 011 Monday, is due to leave there on July 27 for Port Chalmers and Lyttelton. She is to sail Anally for New York on August 7.. DURHAM DUE FRIDAY. The Durham is loadinir at Tim am and should roach here, on Friday. She is to sail finally on July 29. WANGARATTA DUB TO-DAY. The Wangaratta is due at Lyttelton to-day. She will load at Timaru and ■Wellington, sailing finally on August 9. DEVON'S LOADING PORTS. The Devon is due in Now Zealand waters about July 30, and will load at Tokomaru Bay, Gißborne. Napier, and Wellington. She will sail finally on Aueust 19, THE MONOWAI. The Monowai arrived from Dunedin last night.' Sho will leave on Thursday for Napier, Gisborne. The Navua is to now leavo Auckland for Wellington direct about July 26, and is to leave here on Julv 29 for Lyttelton and Dunedin, TARAWERA SAILING SATURDAY. The Tarawera is due on Friday from Dunedin, and is expected to get away for Lyttelton on Saturday.

THE HOROMTA'S ITINERARY. Now en route from Sydney the Hororatft will first call at Timaru, where she is due on Thursday. The vessel will subsequently visit Lyttolton, Wanganui, and Wellington, to load for Nerw York. She is due here on August 12, and is to tail on August 17 for Now York, via Panama. Tho Oity of Winchester Is loading a large cargo of meat at tho King's Wharf. The vessel is fixed to sail for London, via Panama, about July 30. On her next trip from thin port Mie Blenhoim will go to Nydia Bay, probably on Saturday, to load timber for Wellington.
