MR. G. HUNTER'S RESIDENCE.

Dannevirke, July 19. . A fire at Porangahau in tho early hours of the morning destroyed the homestead of Mr. G. Hunter, M.P. for Waipawa. The building comprised 10 rooms, a portion of the structure being comparatively new. Mr. Hunter saved hid records, papers, and pictures. The insurances are unknown. Be Prepared.
