AUSTRALASIAN PRESS DELEGATES
WELCOMED BY VANCOUVER JOURNALISTS. Victoria, 8.C., July 17. Tho Australasian journalists who nre delegates to the Empire Press Conforonco arrived late this evening, and wero informally welcomed by iho Vancouver Institute of Journalists. They will proceed in the morning by two special trains on tho Canadian-Pacific and National railways to Sydney. Nova Scotia (one of the most easterly (owns in Canada), to meet the British contingent, and will then tour the country westward of Ottawa.-Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. (Ree. July 19, 1M p.m.) Vancouver, July 18. The prearranged schedule of tho Australasian journalists has been discarded. The party will be here for a few days, and will then disintegrate and cross the Continent in a. leisurely 'ashion, reassembling at Montreal on July .'ll to meet Ihe British journalists, and proceed to Ottawa, for the conference ns previously scheduled.
