BECKETT DEFEATS BURNS. London, July 16. Beckett defeated Bums at Albert Hrill. Burns mado a plucky effort in the early rounds, and frequently 6cored, but hw blows lacked power. Ho was "groggy" at tho end of tho fifth round, and his towel was thrown in in the seventh.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
