MILITARY OPERATIONS ON LOWER EUPHRATES .

COMMUNICATIONS RESTORED (By Tolograph-Presa Association-Copyright (Eso. July 18, 5.5 p.m.) Delhi, July 17. The military operations on tlie lower Euphrates continue. A brigade, under General Coningham is concentrated in the Diwamyah area. Communications have been successfully restored between Basra and Samawa by armoured trains, co-operating with defence vessels.
