MASSEY'S LETTER TO BROKERS, The Prime Minister (Right Hon. W, I\ Massey), as Minister in charge of the Department of Imperial Government Supplies, has issued a letter in the following terms io all wool brokers in the Dominion:— "It is expected that an interim payment on account of profits arising under the Imperial Government Wool Purchase Accounts, will shortly be made to cover tho period to March 31, 1919. "It has been arranged that the payments shall be made by tho Department; of Imperial Government Supplies direct to growers. As a preliminary step I should be pleased if you would furnish, that Department with a statement to show particulars o£ payments:—(a) From November 1, 191G, to October 31. 1917; (b) from November 1, 1917, to October 31, 1918; (c) from November 1, 1918, to October 31, 1919.

"I shall be pleased if you would arrange that the statement lie in agreement ■with the totals of the purchase money already balanced with Hie Department of Imperial Government Supplies and I would further ask that it be certified as correot in the usual manner, I should also be much obliged if you would allow this matter'to receive your early attention in order that the information may be 'available at' tbo earliest possible moment."
