One of the smaller wards is to bo known as the M'Hardy Ward, In honour of Mr. Leslie M'Hardy, who subscribed iIOOO towards to cost. This ward will be used as a recreation room for returned soldiers in Hie hospital. Tho matron of tlio hospital (Miss M'Lagan), who lias been on tho staff of tlio institution for a period of twentytwo years, was paid a handsome compliment when her framed portrait was unveiled 011 tlio walls of tho extended corridor connecting tho two new wards.
