Messrs. .Dalgety and Co., Ltd.,. report havine held their fortnightly sale at Waverley on-'June 11/ when they offered a good yardinpr of sheen and cattle, practically all of tho stock yarded changing hands. Oattle sold -well.. especially- dairy heifers. The following prices were realised :-3heop: Aged ewes, 17a.; lambs, 15s. Bd. Cattle; Forward' cows, £5 12s. 6d.; 18month steers, £3 155.; 3-year-old steers, £7 Is.: forward' cows and heifers £5 5a.; dairy cows. £5 15a. to £9; dairy cows (gofcd quality), £17: Jersey bull, well bred, £18 10a.: other bulls, £4.: dairy heifers, £8 to £13; dairy heifers (good quality), £14 15«.'- to. £18 10s. . , The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency. Co., Ltd., Dannevlrke. report:— During the nast week we held our weekly sales at Woodville .(Monday) and Dannevirke (Friday). At both fixtures only s, moderate entry o£ sheen came forward and no cattle. We auote:—M.S. 2 and 4tooths, 21s. 3d., 19s„ 18s.'. 3d., 155,. 145.; empty ewes, 17s. 3d.: lambs, 16s. 3d.
