GENERAL DYER EXONERATED

Juno 20, 11.40 p.m.) London, June 20. ■ This "Sunday Express" reports that the Army Council, after considering General Dyers lengthy written statement, decided to exonerate him, allowing him to retain his position in the Army, thereby reversing the recommendation made to the British Government by th# Indian Government and the Indian Commander-in-Chief.—Aus.-N.Z.
