Tho "Daily Chronicle" says that tho "Vossische Zoitung's" report regarding Britain's agreement to supply wheat to Germany is correct, but it is now unlikely that .further food will bo supplied - to Germany at tho presont time and, negotiations have practically dropped!—Aus.-N.Z-. ("Tho "Vossische Zcitung" reported that Britain had agreed to deliver 9500 tons of wheat to Germany, in return for cash. A further offer to supply nioro •wheat was made conditional on Germany purchasing Australian mutton and bacon for cash.]
