FEDERAL HOUSE OF REPRESENTS TIVES VOTES FOR INCREASE. v Melbourne, May If. The Federal House of Representatives, bv votes to IG, adopted Mr. Bamforlh's motion that the Government should be requested to increase the salaries of the members to :pey annum. Mr. Hushes supported the motion, stating that if he was outside Parliament lie could earn, three times a member's salarv.—Press Assn.
