THE COMMISSION OP INQUIRY,
The commission that is to inqnire recarding the trade between New Zealand and the Pacific Islands \ consists of Messrs. G. Elliott. (Auckland), W- RPearson (Timai'u), and T. Wilson; (Wellington). The islands mentioned 111 the order of reference are Western Samoa, Fiji.'Tonga, and the Cook Islands. . The commission is authorised- to act jointly, with any commission appointed by Jio. Governor of Fijii'- and.is. given power to take evidence and call for documents within New Zealand. Its report is to be completed not later tban May 31. 1 .920.
