The City Council decided at its meetins on Thursday—the. four Lobour members dissenting—lo vote ,1:2000 towards tlio cost, of 'entertaining the Prince of Wales during his visit to Wellington. According tlio Mayor, it was hoped that tlie various local ybodies would, tinanco Hie celebrations, and in this connec.ion. it was expected that the Harbour hoard would-be able lo contribute m the neighbourhood of JCIOOO. The whole amount contributed would carry ci Government subsidy. "
