KOREAN REBELLION
JAPANESE, VERSION OF EVENTS.
(Rec. February 13, 0.« a.m.) Washington, February 12. A dispatch from Tokio denies the reports that the Japanese troops have been compelled to evacuate Northern Korea. The dispatch states that only weak outlying posts have been taken by the insurgent Koreans. Tilic Japanese are maintaining firm control over important positions, especially along the Mukder lailway.-Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
