Leslie Coghill, Gordon's brother, made a gallant, fight wUh Goddard for a purse of .£IOOO at the National Sporting Club, lie floored Goddard in the first round. Goddard floored him once in the cecond round, twice in the third round, four times in the fourth round, and liaee in the fifth round, and then knocked him out.
