Masterton, February 11. AVith the view of expediting soldier-set-tlement. the Wairarapa Heturned Soldiers' Association is taking a census of all Wnirarana members who desire to take no farming. The particulars asked for include the class of land required (sheep, dairying, or mixed), farming exoericnce. and capital available. Tie resulting data will lie submitted to tlio Government in order to assist them in estimating tlio area and quality of land to be acnuircd in this district. The headciuarters of tho Returned soldiers' Association havo l>cen written to, suggesting that all local associations be circularised, urging tlicni to adopt tho same policy as in the Wairarapa.
