Tho American sehooner Commerce bailed from Kan Francisco on November 23, bound for Dunedin, with a full cargo cf case oil, and she may therefore be expected to arrive about the third week in January, Another American Echooner, the' Samar, left San Francisco towards the end of Nofenber, also bound for Duncdin' with a full cargo of caso oik The American sehooner Planter is now discharging caeo oil at Bluff from San Francisco. A similar cargo is being landed at Napier from tho American schooner William E. Burnham. The barqucntine Wanganui has just completed discharging a case oil cargo at Wanganui, and tho American sohoonora llenriette, Luzon, and Alveua aro now en routs from San Fraucisco to Auckland, Lyttclton, and Wellimrton respectively with case oil cargoes, and the four-masted barquo Monogahcla bas been chartered to load at San Francisco for Wellington and Sydney. The Union Company advise that the Paloona is now expected to leave Melbourne to-day with passengers'and general cargo for Bluff and Dunedin. She thould arrive at Bluff on December 23, <,nd at Dunedin on December 25. At last Friday's meeting of the. Bluff Harbour Board tho harbourmaster reported that 'during November, four, intercolonial vessels (M 45 tons) and 19 coastal vessels (2587 tons) had arrived in port, nnd four intercolonial and 18 coastal vessels (9619 tons) had left the port. ' This represents an increase,on the return for November 1918. of 5916 tons inward and 4613 tons cutwnrd.
