NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIPS DETAILS OF THE DRAW The draw in connection with the New Zealand I/iuvn Tennis Championships to ho held on the Wellington College ground on Boxing. Bay and following dates, took place in" the office of the secretary to the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association (Mr. Arthur- Petherick), ami there were present Messrs. M. I l '. Instone, W. J. Melody, and Arthur Petherick, vcoresentino- the association, George X. Goldie, N. Ward, B. K. Martin, and C. H. Emit representing tho competitors. Record entries for a New Zealand lawn tennis championship meeting were received, there being 39 competitors in the men's singles, U competitors in tho ladies' sinorles, 17 competitors in the hoys' singles, 17 competitors in the girls' singles, 23 pairs in tho men's doubles, 11 pairs in the ladies' doubles, and 19 pairs in the combined doubles. Tho meeting will extend over four days I and with six grass courts in play interi esting matches will be in progress I throughout each day of tho meeting.
