WORLD'S WHEAT SUPPLY
AN OPTIMISTIC VIEW OF THE POSITION. , (Rec. December 15, 5.5 p.m.) , London, December 12. The Imper'al Institute's Bulletin of the world s wheat position, states that the pre-war production was 110 million tons, the largest contributor being Russia, with twenty-two million. During the war the acreago of outside Europe increased by 25 per cent. The opinion is expressed that at present there is a suificiencv of wheat oven without tho help of Russia to meet tho requirements of the woi'M. The article takes an optimistic v'ow of the future, as vast ureas are awaiting development in Canada, Australia, and eisewhere.—Aus..-N.Z. Cable Assii.
