BURGLARY AT CARTERTON

'By Telegraph—Sueuial Correspondent.) Carterton, June 4. Between Monday night and Wednesday morning tho premises of Mr. \W. B. Lambert, draper, were burglariously entered and goods ■' approximately of the value of between JciO and .£SO stolen. Exactly how the intruder gained admittance is not known, but it is surmised that entrance was gained through tho front of tho promises, and exit by tho back, as tho latter door was found open. The goods taken include women's and men's wearing apparel, and the only portmanteau in stock was also removed, apparently being used to carry the goods away in.
