Bond, of Lower Symonds Street, Auckland, to Mr. Arthur E. Small, Australian Field Artillery, and of the Bank of New Zealand staff, i Sydney, second son o£ the Rev. and Airs'. Small, of Suva, Fiji. The wedding of a' member of the Thirteenth : Reinforcements, ' Corporal ■ Ralph'-, T. <Hales, who was wounded in Prance, took place; at St. Joseph's Church, Wellington, when he was married to Miss Moana Taylor, third daugh-' • ter of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Taylor, of Wellington, and formerly of Napier. Corporal Hales is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. -C. Hales, of Wimbledon. Tho • bride, who was given away by her father, wore a dress of creme' chiffon taffeta, the train being lined with pink ninoii. Sergeant P. Norths, M.M., >of Napier, cousin of the bride, was best man, and Mr. J. Morgan, of Wimbledon, cousin,.of tho bridegroom, was the groomsman. The ceremony was performed by /Father Hurley, S.M. The guests were afterwards entertained at the residence of the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Hales left by the afternoon train, for ii tour of tho North Island. They intend to livie at Wimbledon, H.B.
