SLAUGHTERMEN'S STRIKE IN VICTORIA

. A strike took .place a few weeks ago among the slaughtermen anil by-pro-ducts hands connected with lho ; abattoirs in the Melbourne district. This bas-been settled as the result of a conference between / the mastca - butchers and •• the men.
