EMPLOYMENT OF RETURNED SOLDIERS
97 PER CENT ABSORBED IN AUSTRALIA. Melbourne, January 9. Replying to a deputation of returned soldiors, Mr. E. D. Milieu (Minister, of Reconstruction) stated that out of seventy .thousand returned soldiers who have been discharged only 3 per cent, are unemployed.—Press Assn.
