SMOKE CONCERT
The annual smoke concert in connection with the Poneke Football Club was held last evening, Mr. A. F. AYiren presiding. The toast list was as follows:—"The King," "Poneke Club," proposed by Mr. M. Marks, and responded to by Messrs. M'Avthur and Morris; "Absent Members and Old Members," proposed by Mr. W. _ J. White and responded to by Mr. Linklater; "Our Onponents," proposed by Mr. A. J. Griffiths; "The New Zealand and Wellington Unions," proposed by Mr. Wiren and responded to by Mr. G. H. Dixon and Mr. D. D. Weir: "Referees and 'St. John proposed by Mr. E. C. Mitchell and responded to by Messrs. Howe and Hansen; "Kindred Snorts." "The Ladies," "The Press." The following contributed to the musical programme:—Messrß. Norman Aitken, Thompson, Elliott, Clnpham, Simpson, Lachahah, and Phil Percival.
