Allan "|omsoii. M.A., read two papers, one entitled "Notes oil the Geology of Stephen Island and of D'TJiville Island and the other "The Origin of the Amuri Limestone and Flint Beds," and Mr. P. ,T. Morgan. M.A., read a short paper on "Permo-Carboniferons (Maitai) Tiocks of the Eastern 'Part ot the South Island. All the papers were of a highly technical character, but of special interest to geologists.
