Yesterday in Wellington was beautifullv fine and mild, although «. little ram fell in the early momma. Iho night was cold, Present indications, according to the official forecast, arc for strong cast to south winds northward of I; arc well Spit and Kaikoura, and variable breezes, with northerlics ruling, elsewhere. Cloudy and unsettled weather, with general vain to follow, is expected. The barometer is falling everywhere.
